While this weekend seemed like it was off to a great start yesterday, it seems like nature had other plans for today! Rain can be fun too though - it's a great time for big boots and splashing in puddles! Don't forget to take some time to enjoy your day, no matter the weather or wherever you may be.
With the humidity over 70%, it sure looks like we're in for some rain tonight! Hopefully the temperatures will drop a bit too, bringing a little relief from the heat of the last few days. If you plan to spend this long weekend outside, it might be wise to keep an umbrella handy!
What a wonderfully refreshing morning we've had here in Mississauga! After all the sunshine, a little rain makes for a pleasant change and brings life back to all the parched plants. We have a lovely painting by Harold Braul that sums up the day nicely:

While we might be getting a little rain today, just think of how it'll help all those gardens grow! It also adds a lovely sense of atmosphere in the big city, washing the streets and bringing a sense of renewal.
