Country Roads

We have great news for fans of Jordan Hicks' work!  A lovely little collection of pieces just arrived yesterday, including a couple of miniature works, and they must be seen in person! "I believe in our natural world and it is the foundation for most of my work. I believe in original art and I am dedicated to producing work that has a personality, work that is real." - Jordan Hicks

Colourful Countryside

Bringing you wonderfully vibrant colours for your home, we have some fabulous new works by Marie-Claude Boucher! Her paintings are the perfect punch of colour for any room, and make fantastic conversation pieces too. Marie-Claude maintains a palette of primary and pure colours. She has developed her distinct style with the use of spontaneous and confident brush strokes: “I am not looking for perfection in the details, but rather simplicity in my settings.” It is in the countryside where she finds her inspiration, often interpreted through welcoming red-roofed houses and characteristic clotheslines. The liveliness in her painting style allows us to appreciate her personal zest for the act of painting, and her colourful approach bears her inimitable signature.

It’s Hot, Hot, Hot!

It's going to be a hot day today, so we hope you're keeping cool!  With a little luck the temperatures may drop a bit over the weekend, so keep your fingers crossed! In the meanwhile, here is a little artwork by our artists to help you keep thinking cool thoughts.

Nature in Abstract with Carol Arnston

We have some amazing new artwork by Carole Arnston! Arnston's visual understanding of our physical world is influenced greatly by her architectural background, and she has built on the abstract impressionist influences of artists like Joan Mitchell and Georgia O’Keefe to develop her own style of lyrical abstraction. The joy of exploring the natural world inspires all her work. Dramatic images of wind, sea and alpine meadows are rendered with a broad brush, subtle colour blending and painting knives. They invite the viewer to look closer, to see the beauty that she sees every day.
